An edition of 10 tapes recycled from a set of 10 copies of the same album, called "1947 Earth." Each tape has a hand made collage cover with tracing paper overlay, all the material is recycled from the original packaging.

Recorded October 2019 using the Music by the Metre method.
Edition of 10 tapes, individually recorded with hand made recycled covers, and digital download.
The recordings were made with automated systems which were left to run, each tape recorded in succession so that each is different to the last while containing sound from the same set of sources.

Side A uses turntables with modified records, automated mixing desk, flicked springs, analogue synth and effects units.

Side B uses the video game Half-Life but with all the sounds replaced with samples from rave tracks. A location within the game was selected for its collection of sounds and the player character left in position for the duration.

Labels like Posh Isolation, Janushoved and No Rent Records ought to keep an eye for emerging experimental talent from Africa. There is some seriously imaginative and unfamiliar sounds on offer in this. From track fourteen onwards it starts entering into all kinds of decrepitly strange Throbbing Gristle-esque territory too.
